YardViewer™ displays a complete overview of your yard. By running the mouse over a particular yard area, summary information for that area can be seen. This information includes the following:
- Number of locations.
- Number of used locations.
- Number of available locations.
- Number of 20' containers in the yard.
- Number of 40' containers in the yard.
Displays currently berthed vessels if attached to CBS Software's PortManager.™ By using the 'mouse-over' technique, information relating to that vessel can be seen. This information includes:
- Arrival date and time.
- Estimated departure date and time.
- Number of containers loaded.
- Number of containers discharged.
Drill-down functionality allows the user to access an overhead view of a particular yard area. The overhead view graphically displays the containers in the yard using configurable colours. This allows easy viewing of full and empty sections of an area which facilitates more accurate yard planning.
YardViewer™ provides a 'mouse-over' operation to see details of containers in a particular slot. Information provided by this function includes:
- Container number.
- Yard location.
- Size.
- Weight.
- ISO Code.

A number of filters are available to allow a user to see only containers of a certain size, ISO Code, Hazard Code, Stevedore etc.
Dual Display mode allows YardViewer™ to change automatically between yard areas, or wait for a user intervention.
The built-in YardPlanner™ module allows the organiser of the yard to set aside areas in the yard for certain types of containers such as Reefers, Hazardous, 20' containers, 40' containers etc. When connected to PortManager™ the criteria can also include Vessels and Ports of Discharge.
The YardViewer™ Graphical Yard Area Details.
YardViewer™ integrates seamlessly with CBS Software's PortManager™ and/or DepotManager™ products and therefore changes in the state of your yard are reflected immediately when containers are received, moved or delivered.
YardViewer™ security is integrated with either PortManager's™ or DeportManager's™ extensive security functions. Therefore access can easily be controlled on a per user basis.
Access to the YardPlanner™ module can also be separated on a per user basis. Some users may only be able to view the yard, while others can view and plan the yard.
